THE CHALLENGE

One experience, across a venue.

Large venues coordinate live content, signage, information, and operational controls across many physical and digital touchpoints.

MY LEADERSHIP

Design direction at platform scale.

I led product design vision and created UX/UI foundations for Cisco Vision and connected mobile experiences.

THE APPROACH

Make complex workflows usable.

Translate venue and operator needs into configurable workflows that work within demanding technical constraints.

THE DELIVERABLE

Connected product foundations.

Journeys, interaction patterns, prototypes, enterprise workflows, and reusable interface foundations.

01 / THE VISION

Connecting screens to the live venue.

Cisco Vision brought content management, video distribution, and connected displays into one venue-wide product system. The experience had to make that complexity understandable to the people preparing and operating a live event.

Designed for the experience layer

The story centers on the people, workflows, and interfaces around the platform. Cisco's network technologies are shown as product context, not as infrastructure I designed.

02 / MY LEADERSHIP

From product vision to venue experience.

My role connected product intent with interaction design and cross-functional delivery.

01

I led

Product vision and experience direction

Set design direction, shaped experience strategy, and aligned product and technical partners around the user experience.

02

I designed

Workflows across the platform

Created journeys, task flows, wireframes, prototypes, web and mobile product experiences, and reusable interface foundations.

03

I collaborated

With the systems behind the experience

Worked with Product, Engineering, Networking, Systems Architecture, and partners to connect user needs with technical constraints.

03 / CONNECTED PLATFORM ARCHITECTURE

Designing across software, screens, and space.

Explore how people and product layers connect. Select a layer to see its role in the experience.

PEOPLE

Venue operations

Venue teams coordinate what needs to happen before, during, and between live events. The interface layer gives operators a place to configure the experience.

Experience-layer view based on Cisco product documentation and the project brief. The mobile connection is shown as adjacent experience scope; exact integration details await original artifacts.

04 / DESIGN PROCESS & DECISIONS

Make complex systems easier to operate.

These design considerations translate the project scope and platform documentation into a clear experience direction. They are portfolio synthesis, not claims about a specific historical decision record.

DESIGN CONSIDERATION · 01

Keep venue-wide status legible

Make the relationship between central management, venue zones, devices, and screens easier to understand.

DESIGN CONSIDERATION · 02

Connect content to place and time

Help teams plan, configure, and review content for different locations and event moments.

DESIGN CONSIDERATION · 03

Plan for connected touchpoints

Consider staff needs on the control surface and fan needs across venue displays and adjacent mobile experiences.

05 / EXPERIENCE IN CONTEXT

Fan-facing experiences across the venue.

From wayfinding and event details to social moments and digital content, these touchpoints bring useful information into the live venue experience.

06 / PLATFORM SCALE & IMPACT

A product shaped by live-event conditions.

Every venue has its own operations, content needs, spaces, and connected endpoints. Cisco's historical platform documentation describes centralized content management, media playback, and delivery over an IP network.

07 / PRODUCT EVOLUTION

From Cisco Vision to VisionEDGE.

The product lineage continued after the original Cisco work. Cisco's documentation notes that Cisco Vision was the newer name for StadiumVision as the platform expanded beyond sports. Wipro now presents VisionEDGE as a later Cisco-Wipro venue offering.

ORIGINAL PRODUCT LINEAGE

StadiumVision → Cisco Vision

Cisco's product documentation describes the naming transition and the venue content-management system. The exact relationship between these product dates and my engagement will be confirmed against original records.

LATER PARTNERSHIP CONTEXT

Wipro VisionEDGE

Wipro's current offering combines Cisco networking products with Wipro services. Current VisionEDGE capabilities are later product context and are not attributed to my historical Cisco work.
