AUDI · CONNECTED RETAIL EXPERIENCE
A considered EV journey, from phone to showroom.
Mobile and kiosk concepts that help shoppers explore Audi electric vehicles, shape a build, and carry their choices into the showroom.

Audi UX/UI
Visitors can configure Audi EVs on mobile or kiosk, then create, refine, and save a design in the mobile app.
To bring Audi’s forward-looking brand into the dealership, we designed an interactive display that supports the car-buying journey. Model-specific pages, innovation experiences, and highlighted offers help shoppers explore Audi vehicles and technology wherever they are in their path to purchase.
I partnered with product owners and engineering, using existing brand guidelines to shape an end-to-end experience across mobile and kiosk.
I advocated for the end user throughout the process, building a shared understanding of their needs and the critical problems to solve.
01 / USER LENSES
One experience. Two places to explore.
These are design lenses inferred from the project brief—not source-provided or validated research personas.
The EV explorer
Understand the range and decide which electric model fits their needs.
- Compare models without losing context
- See technology and offers in plain language
- Save a configuration to revisit
02 / THE STARTING POINT
Ground the experience in the real shopping journey.
The source describes MVP requirement review, competitive analysis, whiteboarding, and collaboration with product owners and engineering. The original page does not report participant counts or research outcomes.
Review the MVP
Align the experience to the product requirements and the most important EV-shopping tasks.
Study the landscape
Use competitive analysis to understand how automotive experiences present models, features, and offers.
Map the journey
Whiteboard the mobile and kiosk flow with product owners and engineering before refining the interface.
03 / LOW-FI EXPLORATION
Sketch the journey before polishing the surface.
Original hand sketches from the source project show early thinking before high-fidelity UI.
04 / MOBILE + KIOSK EXPERIENCE
Let the shopper move at their own pace.
Explore the design direction through three steps. This interaction is a portfolio walkthrough of the source concepts, not a live Audi product.
Start with the car, not the form.
Give shoppers a visual way into the Audi EV range, with model-specific information, technology highlights, and current offers close to the vehicle.
IN THE SHOWROOM
See the kiosk signage in motion.
The original project includes this interactive-signage demo. Use the player controls to explore the 38-second walkthrough.
05 / DESIGN APPROACH
Make each next step feel obvious.
Translate the research and artifacts into a few experience principles that connect mobile exploration to the showroom.
- 01
Lead with exploration
Introduce the vehicle and its technology visually, then reveal deeper details as the shopper needs them.
- 02
Keep configuration understandable
Make options and offers easy to scan so shoppers can compare without losing sight of the vehicle they are shaping.
- 03
Preserve the shopper’s progress
Make a saved build a bridge between independent browsing on mobile and a helpful conversation in the showroom.
- 04
Prototype the handoff
Use interactive flows and kiosk signage demos to make the cross-device experience tangible for review.
06 / EXPLORATORY CONCEPT
Emotional Artificial Intelligence
The project explored machine-learning methods that use camera signals to estimate demographic cues, such as age range, alongside emotional signals. The demo image documents the research interface and its on-screen estimates; it does not establish a validated or deployed Audi feature.
07 / DATA & SIGNALS
Measure continuity, not just clicks.
The source page provides no usability counts, conversion results, or business outcome metrics. These are proposed evaluation signals—not project results.
Build completion
Can shoppers finish a configuration with the information they need?
PROPOSED TASK SIGNALSave and resume
Can someone return to a saved build on another device or in-store?
PROPOSED CONTINUITY SIGNALDecision confidence
Can shoppers explain the model and features they selected?
